Apparently that film was rotoscoped. I ain't tipping my hat to that filthy art.
That's brainmeltingly fluid!
Which makes me believe they rotoscoped at a higher frame rate rather than the standard 24... but I could be wrong.

lol while yes, they relied heavily on rotoscoping, I wouldnt diss it as no labor of love.
Raplh baskhi was doing what Disney and Warners has done as well, but no one disses them. It was a alot of work, and those backgrounds and monster designs are nothing to sneeze at.
I agree, rotoscoped or not it's still a lot of dedicated work and many anatomically correct animations rely upon some levels of rotoscoping on one level or another.
